Delete your HumTum Diaries account.
You can request removal of your HumTum Diaries account and associated data even if you no longer have the app. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your cloud account.
Request deletion by email
Email support@lovediary.in with the subject HumTum Diaries account deletion. Tell us the email used for your HumTum Diaries sign-in and that you want the account deleted. Send from that address when possible.
Email a deletion request ↗No passwords, sign-in codes, or private journal content are needed. If Apple gave you a private relay address or you cannot access your sign-in email, mention that so we can arrange account verification.
What happens next
- We verify that you control the account before deleting anyone’s information.
- We confirm the account and explain the deletion process. We respond within 30 days of receiving your request and let you know if verification or a legal requirement prevents completion.
- After verification, we carry out account cleanup and send a completion status. If cleanup fails, we work with you to retry it.
What is removed
The deletion workflow removes your HumTum Diaries profile and sign-in account, your memory text, Two Sides contributions, activity answers, authored letters, Community posts and answers, photos you uploaded (including previews), your support records, reports you submitted, block records involving your account, and your other account contributions. Solo journals are removed. Account identifiers in other people’s safety reports are removed; their descriptions remain until the report’s scheduled deletion.
A surviving partner’s own content can remain in an archived shared journal. Some shared records may remain with your text removed or their author reassigned so the partner’s copy works. Photos already exported to a photo library, browser download, or another person’s device are outside HumTum Diaries’ control.
What may remain
Other people’s independently authored contributions remain where applicable. Limited moderation evidence, minimized purchase-ownership records and records required for legal obligations may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. A privacy request can ask for review of a retained record; deleting an account does not cancel its store subscription.
Our support and privacy-request emails are kept for 12 months after resolution unless law requires longer. Safety reports are scheduled for deletion 365 days after submission. Provider backups, email copies, and operational logs can remain under provider retention schedules or legal requirements. See the Privacy Policy’s retention details.
If you still have the app
Open Settings → Delete account and review what will be removed before confirming. The app attempts to clear account-scoped local data on that device. An email request cannot remotely erase copies already downloaded to your device; remove those yourself if you want them deleted.
Subscriptions are cancelled separately
If you have a paid subscription, deleting your account or uninstalling HumTum Diaries does not stop renewals. Cancel in the original Apple or Google Play store before leaving. Subscription controls are in Settings → Plans & pricing; the Delete account screen focuses on deletion.
